Why Us

The Momentum Difference

Momentum ABA was born out of a true passion to provide quality applied behavior analysis services for families in Pinellas County. Momentum ABA is owned and operated by Matthew Yasova-Zaffos, BCBA, MBA. After working in the autism community for over a decade, he became a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in 2013. Since then he worked in a variety of settings and saw that BCBAs were conducting assessments and developing behavior plans, but then their treatment plans were being carried out by various other professionals, leaving families with direct care from the BCBA quite infrequently. In 2019 he decided to follow his passion for providing direct services to his clients and started Momentum ABA. He hopes to inspire parents and caregivers to use principles of behavior change in their everyday life building momentum to get families living the life they want to live.

What sets Momentum ABA apart?

If you become a part of the Momentum ABA family by entrusting us with your child’s care, all services provided will be directly carried out by a BCBA. Unlike in other clinics where you likely spend most your time with ABA therapists and behavior techs and only see your BCBA a few hours a week, with Momentum, during all steps of the process your BCBA will work directly together with you to achieve your family’s goals.
